The Pain & Suffering of Guru Gobind Singh Jee
Guru Gobind Singh Jee Alone…?
History bears testimony that Guru Gobind Singh Jee enchanted his followers due to his superb personality. It was his deep spirituality that drove him to build a new race of humanity, that would be filled with love, nourished by devotion to Akaal Purakh, which would come to form a brotherhood merged from countless castes, into an order of love, service, and sacrifice.
The ideal of kurbani, or sacrifice, is something that Guru Gobind Singh Jee taught all of us. The amount of sacrifice that Guru Gobind Singh had to give, when witnessing the death of both his immediate family, and also his beloved Khalsa family, was unparalleled in the history of mankind.
At the young age of 9, Guru Gobind Singh first had to sacrifice his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, who was martyred by the tyrannical Moguls who insisted that the Guru show a miracle of supernatural strength, or convert to Islam, otherwise, death was the ultimate punishment. Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib was martyred by having his head severed, but his Sikhi remained strong as stone.
“Sees Deea Par Sirar Na Deea”
Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib gave his head, but not his resolve.
Guru Gobind Singh Jee lost his eldest two sons, Sahibzaada Baba Ajeet Singh and Sahibzaada Baba Jujhaar Singh, in the battle of Chamkaur Sahib, followed by the martyrdom of the younger Sahibzaaday, Baba Zorawar Singh, and Fateh Singh, who were bricked alive for not embracing the Islam of the Mogul tyrants. Guru Sahib lost the 40 Muktay, and countless Nihang Singh Khalsay in the battlefield. Three of the five Panj Pyare were also made shaheed in the month of December. Most of his trusted Sikhs died before his eyes on the battlefield. Guru Gobind Singh Jee had lost everything that was precious and dear to him; yet he remained in Chardee Kalaa (high spirits), and did not let the loss of his beloved ones soften his spirits or disturb his mind’s composure. Although many times the Khalsa Fauj (Army) lost many Heeras, Guru Sahib remained headstrong in his mission from Akaal Purakh, and not let the Khalsa order die; an order that is rich with so much love, that saw all humans of all castes, creeds, colors, and races, as a brotherhood of children of God.Guru Gobind Singh was such an amazing leader that he did not care that he and his Khalsa had to sacrifice thier lives so that an order that encouraged a discipline of equality and devout spirituality, could live on. The Guru’s words and teachings inspired courage, bravery, faith, and sacrifice into his beloved Sikhs.During the Guru’s most emotional pain and sufferings, he joyfully sang:
Sir Jaey Ta Jaey, Mera Sikhi Sidhak Na Jaey ||
Let me head be cut off, if my faith could live.
At one occasion, everyone had left Guru Gobind Singh Jee, even his trusted Sikh Dalla, with whom the Guru stayed for 9 months. A roaming fakir ironically remarked:
Na Dalla, Na Malla, Tey Guru Ikalla ||
There is neither Dalla nor any other hero left; and the Guru is now LEFT ALONE.
The Guru laughed at the fakir and said:
Guru Naal Allah, Guru Kaday Na Kalla ||
Allah (God) is ever with the Guru; and so the Guru is NEVER ALONE.

It’s lovely to know the history of our gurus and it’s really touching when you hear/read the words of the gurus conversation.

Guru kee Sikho!! Today the whole world is celebrating Christman/Hannakuh, but have you ever thought what these days meant for sikhs. These are the black days for the history of sikhs. Saka Chamkor Sahib and Sirhind is not a fight between the 48 hungry singhs and over one million mugals/ hill rajehs. It was a bettle of truth.
As H Singh Veerji wrote, Guru Gobind Singh Satguru lost almost everthing, inspite of this He was in chardikala
