Gurmukh Pyareo! Our apologies that we have not posted on the blog for a while. We have been busy with our college and work schedules, as well as North-East USA Samagams (Local NY/NJ Samagams, Gurmat Sangeet Raag Basant Darbar, Maryland Samagam March 2007, Toronto Samagam December 2006, Toronto Samagam January 2007 in memory of Dr. Bibi Jasbir Kaur Jee, and more).

Here is an enjoyable video of Bhai Balbir Singh Jee (Amritsar) singing a shabad composed by Guru Gobind Singh Jee Maharaj, “Jagrdang Nagrdang Bagrdang Baajay“.

    It is great Religious Shabad. I think Bhai Sahib Bhai BALBIR SINGH SHORMANI RAGI is the different Ragi from other Classical Musician like Pandits etc., everybody have a good status, but I say Bhai Sahib Bhai Balbir Singh also different Ragi. I salute with both hands.

    The shabad is from Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji, Sri Chandi Charitra.
    It is written “Jagrdang Nagrdang Bagrdang Baajay” , but it seems Bhai Sahib Ji is saying “Nagrdang Jagrdang Bagrdang Baajay”.
