Maharaja Ranjeet Singh Jee’s Golden Throne
Here is a great video by the BBC on Maharaja Ranjit Singh Jee and his Golden Throne. It is about 30 minutes long and includes interviews with historians and other professionals who hold great knowledge of the throne. Enjoy!

Great vedio, only visited to see the throne yestoday, This vedio should be shown along side it. Because l have seen the throne 15 years ago. it was just sitting there with just a few words. Also 15 years ago there as a golden bird with ruby for eyes but it is no longer there know – I believe that also belonged to the Raja?
It would be nice to know where that is now.
Where do they get the idea of Maharaj Ranjit Singh being a womanizer. This kind of stupid notions should be stood up against. This is not only an insult to Indian pride, but also a gross manipulation of history.
