HOLLA MAHALLA 2008:This Samagam is in celebration of Holla Mahalla. During this spring, on March 16th, Lawrenceville Gurdwara Sahib will be hosting Gatka followed by a Gurmat Sanget Raag Darbar, where all compositions by Keertaniyia will be performed in purely Nirdharit Raag for the entire evening. This is a DO NOT MISS for Raag fanatics and Gurmat Sangeet lovers in North America. Aey Deedar Baksho Jee!! Samagam schedule is as follows:
Saturday March 15, 2008:
6:00PM - 6:50PM: Gatka by Maryland Gatka Akhaaras
7:00PM - 7:30PM: Rehras
7:30PM - 7:45PM: Presentation on Holla Mahalla
7:45PM - 8:30PM: Bhai Surjit Singh Jee (Long Island)
8:30PM - 9:15PM: *Bhai Gurdarshan Singh Jee (Maryland)* - SPECIAL informative Katha in Punjabi and English, geared especially towards the younger generation (BRING YOUR CHILDREN).
9:15PM - 10:00PM: Bhai Parkash Singh Jee (Hazoori Raagi Lawrenceville Gurudwara Sahib - Students of Principal Gyani Dyal Singh Jee)
