While he lacked 'eyesight', he was gifted with 'vision'. I saw him perform on harmonium and play tabla (very well !!) .. and of course, as a Dhadhi. Above he performed with passion and --- ALWAYS --- a smile on his face ... he was "in the zone" when Bhai Sahib did kirtan. He was an inspiration and an icon. We are blessed, those who experienced his kirtan. I saw and heard Bhai Didar Singh many times in Vancouver, BC when I was in my early teens.
